Only 3% of the drags I encounter are retained for sale (as of Oct. 22nd - 39 kept / 1,515 slain = 2.5%) Why are a dragon's "Hits" important? Aside from serving as the dragon's level of health, "hits" also play a significant role in determining the amount of damage dealt when your dragon casts his strongest magic spell, firebreath ("FB"). Each dragon will deal 1 HP worth of damage for every 20 hits he has at the time of cast. Note that damage is NOT based on total possible hits, but actual hits, so it is important keep your dragon fully healed if you want to achieve maximum potential FB damage output. The maximum achievable FB damage output from any dragon is 41, which is dealt by dragons with 820+ hits, hence why these tend to command more gold in the open market. Nonetheless, should you opt for a 1 tank / 1 dexxer model, it is fine to slack on the hits for your dexxer so long as he has a decent STR/DEX combination (e.g. 820+ STR / 100+ DEX).
