Time to get rid of my original house, a log cabin on Serpent's Hold Island. The new moongate is a screen or two to the west for quick access on and off the island. Bank and town aren't that far either. Great house for someone starting out. I'll even leave the security setup and house add-ons for you. Apart from the two villa's, this is the largest house on the island. There is some spawn in the area but player foot traffic is low. The only spawn of any real concern is the silver serpent that spawns behind the house. Stay out of the backyard and you'll be fine. The neighbours over the back occasionally see to it he is fed.
