Hello, first I'm going to introduce me, I'm Emirikol I began to play UO when I was 14 years old (almost 90's) in the Novus Opiate server (the first one not the later relaunched) but when it crashes I abandoned the game but it have been always on my heart now I was looking for a good server and this one seems to be the best!
Why did I say I'm new if i have played before? Because I played many years ago the gameplay and server mechanics are so different that I should say I'm almost a new player.

Now you know me and I want to say that this is a great server with tons of players playing, great staff and a wonderful community but I may say that you have many guides for new players but there are still many question unanswered. My intention with this post is to ask (and then gather) some information that many players know but are pretty annoying for the new arrived player. So here we go.

BULK ORDER SYSTEM (Also known as BOD)

When can i get a Bulk Order?
You can get one as soon as you reach 70.1 real skill for a Small Bulk order and 85.1 real Skill for a Large one.

Once i have reached the necessary skill how can i get a Bulk Order?
The guide says you should sell something to the vendor but you only have to say "order status" to the vendor and you'll get one.

How long should i wait to get another Bulk Order?
You should wait 6 hours to get other Bulk order of the same skill.
Advice: If you refuse a Bulk Order you won't get other in 6 hours so take every Bulk Order the vendor offers.

Are Small BOD's required to complete a Large BOD's?
Yes, you need to complete some Small BOD's with the exact amount and quality required in the Large one in order to complete the Large BOD
Advice: Be careful when adding smalls to larges, as a Normal large will accept an exceptional small, potentially wasting a better deed. Thanks to CaptainMorgan

Are BOD Deeds and/or BOD Books blessed? Thanks to CaptainMorgan
No, but they are zero stones which means they can only be stolen by random target unless they are in a container which is itself stealable. If you're going to carry books, it is best to carry them in a container with a couple heavy items in it.

How much should I ask for my BOD? Thanks to CaptainMorgan
There is a great post about UOR economy written by Dalavar here.
The standard is half the value of the reward divided by the number of pieces. For high demand items (pheonix, etc) go closer to 75-80%. For very low demand items, go lower than 50%.

In the tailoring BOD how can I know the HUE color of the cloth I have received as reward? Thanks to Kane
Type "[whatisit" in game and it will tell you the exact hue of the item

    Mining

One great skill for a crafter char is Mining, there best way to get GM mining is just mining so pick a shovel or pickaxe and mine.

    You must know:
    1. You can't mine if you are riding a horse.
    2. It is not allowed to mine while you are AFK (unattended macro). Click here for more info about anti AFK gather/sell system.
    3. Ore spots are fixed, so if you mine F.E. Agapite in one spot this spot will always give Agapite ore so remember the best mining spots.
    4. When smelting high level ore such as valorite, it is best to separate large piles into smaller ones to prevent large losses. If you do this with low level ores it will help you to raise your skill.
    5. You can upgrade an ore vein using a Gargoyle Pickaxe so if one spot spawns Copper you will get Bronze using a Gargoyle Pickaxe. You can get Gargoyle Pickaxe as loot from Gargoyles or as reward in a Blacksmith BOD.
    6. Yo can get 4 kind of ore piles, when you smelt them you get a different amount of ingots:[IMG] Weight: 2 Stones. You get: 0.5 Ingots (You need 2 in order to produce 1 ingot). [IMG] Weight: 7 Stones. You get: 1 Ingot. [IMG] Weight: 7 Stones. You get: 1 Ingot. [IMG] Weight: 12 Stones. You get: 2 Ingots.
    7. Some ores requires a skill min in order to get a chance to get them. Thanks to napo.
Extra tip: Once you reach an important ingot amount the best way to store, sell and transport them is using a Commodity Deed, Empty commodity deeds may be purchased from NPC bankers and minters for 500 gp. (The following items may fill a commodity deed: Arrows, Boards, Bolts of Cloth, Bones, Cloth, Crossbow Bolts, Feathers, Fish, Fish Steaks, Hides, Ingots, Leather, Logs, Reagents, Scrolls and Shafts).

Do you think i should add something?
Does anyone knows how add tables in the forum?
