*you see a new parchment on the board* "A declaration of war,calling all dwarfs"

I, Mitsh Glasschisl, Jarl of the Dwarf Fortress has declared war on all orcs of the land.

Last evening, I was working on a order of dwarven armor when thru the window a most welcomed cool breeze blowed in. A foul stench was in the air! Only one thing stinks worse than the bogs of Destard.....pure instinct takes over...."ORCS ARE UPON US!!"

Yes, several orcs in their blood red rags were at the front doors. I quickly grabbed my axe of vanquishing and ran up the steps two at a time. To the front rail of the second floor to see what reaction was called for. The orcs were screaming some awful glutal only orcs can manage. They managed to toss a few arrows my way, tho a few did find their mark on me, they were no match for my bronze dwarven armor and simply fell to my feet. A human Raziel was soon at the ready and charged full on with frontal attack, trying to draw the orcs from the front doors. That, my friend, is what being a hero is all about. *raises mug*

They had a orc mage........HA!...........I heard it takes intelligence to cast magic, now I am not so sure. A human mage friend of the dwarfs was at the keep and was summoning blades from thin air and tossing them towards the orcs. Their mage quickly dispelled all blades. The human, Stellabella opened a magic gate and disappeared, only to reappear with a great terrible White Wyrm and a rather large and hungry looking Red Dragon. The orcs made a very hasty retreat.

I soon received a falcon and the note stated.....something scribbled....damn orcs.

I returned the note with one word inscribed with my own blood.....war.
