Just curious as a new player, where are the servers located?

the server is hosted in VA now. the lasting lag spike like that may be something on your computer checking for updates.

Yea I am east coast as well and I don't get those lag spikes either. More than likely something on your end.

I use voice and often we all experience these 5 second freezes simultaneously. When it happens, ask someone else if they just lagged. If they did, it likely wasn't you. I really hope the source of these spikes is figured out. It is incredibly annoying to try to PVP through them.

Now that you mention it, when I experience these spikes the monsters I am fighting don't end up all over me, they pick up where they were when the spike happens, which would indicate its the server.
