Communication Crystal Request

    Hail Knights of Sosaria.

    Would you be interested in setting up a communication crystal with Dungeon Guards at DG Village?
    We have come under attack recently and the existing comms with Paws village has proven useful.
    I imagine if we expand this to other guild towns such as yourselves it can greatly increase our defence ability.
    What do you think?

    Our library at the Yew crossroads has one. We will have to get one put in at the Guild Hall.

    You'll need to install a separate set of communication stones to link to Dungeon Guards. Unfortunately you can't daisy chain them together.

    Likely because you create an infinite loop which probably wouldn't be good for the server. Also the virtual feed back could rupture all the speakers in the world

    We'll also need to get runes to DG in our libraries.

    If you get two crystals linked (4 if you'd like one at our 2nd library, also) and give them to one of the @ or & guys in the #KoS IRC channel, they can get them to me and I can get them installed.

    A note when buying communication crystals from npc jewelers- they don't really label the difference between broadcast and receiver type. The only way u can tell the difference is by price.

    The crystals which are cheapest (about 6gold) are the receivers. All other prices are broadcasters.

    I was able to secure the placement of a rune to DG town in our guild hall. It is in the purple runebook on the polar bear rug. Let me know if this location is satisfactory.

    This might not be well known but we patched the comm crystals a while back to support being charged up to 60000 charges, (from the 2000 standard).

    I was online and working on Communications Crystals tonight, but it looks like I missed you, Mel. We'll get it sorted out eventually. :)

    For now, the Knights of Sosaria have setup communications with their allies Paws and Stormhold, but look forward to also setting them up with the Dungeon Guards.
