I think they look much more acceptable in these hues, though the size is a bit large as well. I don't have a problem with the actual art, myself.
----> I dont have a problem with items that don't effect gameplay and sit in players' houses. I actually like the 2d samurai swords pictured on the previous page. I dislike the metal chair and I also dislike the crystals at issue because of their looks and would not personally use them for decoration. I don't care what other people have or do in their houses. Ladders are also not era-accurate as far as I know. ----> I have an issue with bonded pets and despise it beyond reason.
^ you can put an ugly crystal on every street corner if you take away bonded pets. or at least make stat loss matters
I will admit it's disappointing to see them here. I wouldn't mind it though if I was actually playing on an AOS shard with Malas (the map is littered with them). In my opinion, there is no way to have a consistent level of quality between the 90% of in-game art done in 1997 by an in-house team of artists, versus the 10% done by a 3rd party contracted art studio done 6-8 years later. (check the Age of Shadows credits for "Contracted Art")
Damn, you know, I do miss it. easy to see who is on. Some are bored, some are selling, some are scamming, some are thieving. You can pick up a pug for a run or fight. You never know what or who you will run into. You could even buy cheap mounts from the journeyman tamer. Also, sitting at Occllo is not bank sitting.
