Changes for Phoenix Armor

    Because UO players love vanity.

    The change you're talking about would turn a "5 mil set of armor" (As you call it, but when was the last time you saw any actually sell?) into a 20 mil+ set of armor overnight.

    You can make it 'usable' without making it BETTER than the best craftable suit of mage armor you can get... AND bright ass orange/blessed.

    Meh.

    Why not make it worse than barbed then. So you get vanity and some decent armor.

    ok I have no idea why your saying the read my mind comment. Anyways, maybe you get a deed that gets two possible pieces. Some sort of leather armor and some sort of chain armor. Both lower stats so they are useable.

    I'm sorry... I was caught up in the argument rather than the discussion at hand. I apologize.

    Making it worse than barbed seems MUCH more reasonable to me... But I still have an issue with metal armor being medable.

    Make it so when you're wearing a full set of phoenix armor you look like one of the biggest trammies the shard has ever seen...

    A huge part of my beef with this idea is the implication it has on the economy.

    Why should it be used besides to showoff how rich you are? ... you're using it...surely there is a reason.

    Also: Valorite weapons cost 1.5 mil per... and they aren't blessed. Do you think they should be? (They only get used in CTF as it stands)

    Valorite weapons are usable, but unblessed... and show off how rich you are.

    Phoenix armor is un-usable (this is HIGHLY debatable), but blessed... and show off how rich you are.

    I don't see the issue.

    At this point in the shard's growth... this is the ONLY change I can get behind.

    Blessed? Are you kidding me? Bad enough it is already Newbied.

    I would be in favor of it being 1 step above exceptional Valorite crafted ring mail. So on the same scale as magic invulnerable.
