I run this for T-mapping: Carto LP Detect (until 100 LP... which takes forever) Magery Med Music Provo ... but I can only handle up to level 4's and those are pretty rough for my guy. I usually support with tamer but I too would like to find a viable solo T-mapper template.
Mage Med Taming Lore Vet Carto Lp Obviously you'd be stuck doing leven 4 maps without detect but if you want to actually solo stuff easily this is the only way it's going to happen. Keep in mind that on lvl 6 maps your char digging the treasure up is going to die instantly unless you have another char drop a very well timed invis.
Id start a T- Hunter as a Hybrid T-Hunter/Dungeon Picker, until you GM Lockpicking. 100 Magery 80-100 Med (adjust to current Template needs) 99.5-100 Cartography (*99.5+ will have to do on lvl 4 + maps) (**until Cart is fixed you don't need to be GM) Cartography Link→ http://uorforum.com/threads/cartography-30-100.11033/ 94.5-100 Lockpicking ( GM LP is probably best done without ANY Detect Hidden on your Character, working Level 4 Maps and Level 4 Chests in Dungeons until 100) Just save those lvl 5+ maps for later....(If you Must, 20 Detect Hidden= 1 LP) 100 Hiding 80 Stealth (Dungeons) 100 Item ID- Id's EVERYTHING in a Chest/Bag/Box in One Shot- Well Worth the Skill Points! Finished Base- Using a Tamer or Bard on Second Acct or Buddies (MMO) to Kill Spawn. 100 Magery 100 Med 100 Cart 100 Locks 100 Hide 100 Item ID 100 (options) Eval/Stealth/Resist/Fishing (option- drop Hide and do Music/Provo using Invis) Fisherman- is wide open for your Playstyle- see Skills in this Link → http://uorforum.com/threads/the-dock-fishing-guide-30-100.11273/ I prefer the Mage/Bard, but all you need are skills to Kill the Kraken/Deep/Sea Serpents(*Loch Lake) 100 Fishing 100 Magery- Travel, Summoned Pet(daemon) E-Bolt Spam 100 Med 100 Music 100 Peace (options) 100 Disco- Weakens the Target- easier, quicker and cheaper to Kill 100 Tracking- Spawn will run from you and often spawns at the edge of your visible screen 100 Item Id if you plan on fishing up MiB's 100 Provo if you plan on doing Nets 100 Eval- for added Spell Damage- Quicker, Cheaper Kills I use 3 Fishermen with a mixed combo of all these Skills Some Folks like Archers and Resist, or Tamer versions, above is what I prefer.
Well, things are winding down for me here so might as well start sharing. Fishing Highlights Tracking has gotten me quite a few missed AMIB's, and player kills 3 energy bolt turrets on peaced opponents I used to have discordance... didn't notice much of a difference in time, went back to peace (less healing) If you're looking to lose all immersion and turn the act into an arbitrary activity, use this method. T-mapper Highlights I saw the proverbial writing on the wall with how custom t-map content would work here so... I am happier than ever with my T-mapper template (1st one listed) now and do not regret GMing remove trap. It's kinda fun, actually. My "dueling banjo's" for CC (crowd control) work the map's spawn very well keeping them busy with summons and CC. The T-mapper is just that, open, remove the trap (I use remove trap for other things as well... other very important things), hide, wait, ID items, start looting... oh and axing the empty chest when completed. I don't use the CC characters for fishing content. They're allocated to other duties other than T-mapping as well and need the skills they have.
