Do u need any special skills to loot the amib rares?

I assume they are not present on every amib map?

Do they spawn in the same place if they do spawn, or is the spawn location random?

    TY!

No, keys to chests fall on bosses.

Random chance to get rares, certain things like chests are on every amib.

chests and spawning rares are in the same spots. Rares spawn inside chests on random chance. 1/250?

Hmm...Are you sure this information is accurate? I only ask because I PM'd someone who didnt mention rares were in the chests. I was told they are randomly in a small area spawning by themselves on the ground/walls and appear as deco items but can be lifted.

For example the blue amib I am told/have read that the blood tile rare spawns in the room BELOW where the chest is at the top of the lighthouse. The room with all of the blood in it that you get teleported into when you walk into the doorway. I cannot personally confirm this since I havnt found a blood tile but thats what a previous amib rare spawn post from someone said, and my PM with someone who was selling sets of these rares on more than 1 occasion gave me the info I mentioned earlier in my post.

TY for the info just want to corroborate and make sure its accurate so I dont miss something when its actually there :)

They spawn in the same spot every time, 30 days from the last time they were picked up. No skills required, just pick them up off the ground. The reason you're not finding them is because many people know the timer and grab them up pretty reliably. No chests involved, they appear as deco but are not locked down.

Thats what I thought after speaking to others and researching here on the forums some more.

    Thx Kane.

So people save their amibs and only turn them in when they think/know the rare will spawn....interesting.....

Yep, it takes the random chance out of "random chance". Sad... It easily doesn't have to be that way.

I dunno I just dont get it.

How many 10s or 100s of millions of gold in pixels does a person need?

Just play the game, have fun, enjoy, be entertained.

It truly evades my understanding why people play the "play to win" way.....

I have MUCH more fun doing whatever-the-fuck i feel like! :)

The rest of the spawning rares are very randomized in their spawn times (days and hours vary each time), but spawn inside of a window of time - this system works very well as there is an opportunity for everyone to get lucky.

I would be extremely surprised if AMIB rares were set up differently and had an exact 30 day timer.

There are rares from killing the bosses, rares from the treasure chests, and then "spawning" rares which are just hanging out on the ground. Only the spawning rares are on a timer, and I believe that timer has a slight +/- randomization to it.

I've done nearly 100 AMIBs, and I pretty much always just do them whenever I feel like it. Spawning rares can suck my nuts. (though I won't be mad if I stumble into one)

Should deviate by more for accessibility to less pro gamers. My 2 cents.

Are there any resources out there which list each spawning rare's respective spawn location by AMIB type?
