Hcoin drop distribution is not optimal, IMO.

I am raging all the time. The real story behind the post was that coin drop rates were changed to 100% allowing the abuse of not optimally designed game mechanics.

I do think boss monsters should have their hcoin rate reduced, and the rate increased on the small monsters.

This thread also has a lot of people that have come out in force, heavily arguing against any changes because its highly profitable for them. Balance matters very little to some people, it's about winning for pixels 24/7.

If you increase the small mob drop rate it'll be even easier for me to make coins, I'm not at all opposed to that. The current system rewards those who fight the harder spawn and is realistic to the amount of coins required for the reward items on the vendor. I feel like what you're asking is for people who don't play much to be rewarded as much as those who spend the time farming mobs, and that's simply backwards.

I didnt demand that. I want players to get rich by attentive skilled gameplay. I am sure you are capable of that and would have acquired your hcoins anyway. Just with more risk and involvement (like moving around in a GY).

Btw, without an increasement of drop rates your pentagram and all the other halloween rewards would have been much more valuable. There was a reason you had to buy them for 2 plat per hcoin, and now it's establishing below the value of 1 plat and will probably hit the "normal" 6k" when xmas hoarders start buying.

And that's fine, I made a market mistake and I'm at least glad those who managed to make a profit from it did (yourself included). I did not want the pentagram because it cost a lot or because I thought it would be valuable, I like the way it looks so I sought out to make it mine. The coin drop rate was painfully low and would have only benefitted those who hoarded coins from last year when the drop rate was even higher than it is this year. I think the right decision was made to bring up the drop rates and to move spawn into an area that requires movement and it just seems like it would be a ridiculous notion to nerf the drop rate now after widespread discontent caused the increase in the first place.

The way I "remember it" one of the best thing about holiday events was it being worthwhile for all players, and thus attracting all kinds of overworld activity. New and old (see: retired) players alike had incentive to logon and play the damn game ... and that was fun.

I maybe a bit biased (see: disgruntled.) but I personally logged on the first few days of the event; and haven't been on much since because quite frankly, its not worth my time. (As either a dude farming monsters OR a dude farming players.)

As someone who has played both playstyles extensively I won't even begin to get into how wrong you are..
