Is in the wrong place!! It's a coastal village, mid-way between Trinsic and Britain. Look :- http://ultima.wikia.com/wiki/Paws Some stuff is important to get right!
... after being slighted by non other than Lord British himself for many years, you wouldn't contemn the surviving citizens for relocating... would you?
lol there is a "Village of Paws" located near the ocean in UOR, even has a Homeless Shelter. It's the little four building "township" between West Brit Bridge and the Moongate. Believe the origional location was already
Pah! Ultima must be wrong! The Village of Paws is located around the shrine of Spirituality, EVERYBODY on UOR knows that. (the huts dont count btw ) Get your shit together Classic Ultima!
http://uorforum.com/threads/citizens-of-stormhold-s.1834/ "...Dissatisfied and dissillusioned with the rule of Lord British, peoples from the far-flung reaches of Sosaria are assembling in the frontiers. Carved from the wilds of Windmere Woods is the free city of Stormhold.." Bring it!
Look up Vepser throughout the Ultima games! Sometimes it's in the desert, sometimes it's on the coast, sometimes it doesn't even exist!
Heheheh "What's a Paladin?" Technically, the Shrine of Spirituality is in the wrong place too. In most Ultima games it was in "The Void" but geographically speaking, you could find it in the mountains near the Shrine of Humility in U7 I think lol. I'm glad at least they attempted to explain its absence later on lol. the vesper from U7 was basically a re-establishment of the town, stemming from the blackrock ore found in the mines nearby, which used for nefarious purposes!
Well the SOUTHERN settlement of Paws founded by Jupiter is around the shrine...but the tiny village of Paws is on the coast just outside of Britain. I can only assume that originally it was at the midpoint but out of control urban sprawl from that decadent city caused it to grow all the way to the borders of the original Paws. Or global warming. One of those.
