Relatively new here--about two weeks. I've been lurking around and thought it was time to say hello. I haven't played this game since '98 (boss) and a short stint in 2004 (garbage), but this shard definitely reminds me of when it was fun. Whomever's the HMFIC of this shard has done a pretty bitchin' job. Well done. So far, everyone's been pretty cool, which is much appreciated. Even the PKs here are a better brand of gamers than I remember on Baja. For a game as old as this one, the one trait that must have helped it endure this long is the strong sense of community. This place looks like it's gotten it right. Anyway, thought I'd stop reading the board and start getting a little involved. Thanks again for the last two weeks of fun--and for not sucking up all of the housing spots before I showed up.

Hi and welcome abroad. Always happy to see new players. I think you shall be happy here. Great, approachable Staff, fantastic player community. We have little of everything here. Player run events, Staff created Events. All sorts of pvp and tons of stuff to do for crafters and pvmers. Anything I can help you with, don't be shy. Hey, Tsarkon. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply--work kind of exploded this week. In '98 I had a character named Art something that was in the Kingdom of Dawn (if I remember correctly), and Cyrus that had a stint with LoD. There were a couple more, but I honestly can't remember the names. When I jumped back on in 2004, I made characters with the same names, but I didn't hang out with many folks. I bought a giant house plot, 100K in iron ingots, and a couple million gold for $60 on eBay, so I spent most of the time crafting and selling. Then I dropped everything and went to college.
