By completely safe, I mean there are at least some houses with tiles (more than one- unlike the small house which has just one) where you are completely safe both spells cast into the house from outside and explosion potions that can be thrown in?
Any of the medium or larger 2 story houses would probably be safe. Smaller houses can be safe with proper tables and locked doors, I would imagine.
You should be 100% safe in a small house so long as you remain in the center tile. The bigger the house, the bigger the safety net.
As long as you are not doing damage to yourself. If you are fighting, etc you can be brought low enough that you kill yourself. To be completely safe even fighting, you need a keep or larger
Are you sure? In T2A, not sure about ren, some houses like towers, etc, maybe keeps, were totally compromised, there was no tile in the building where someone outside could not cast a spell (or throw a explosion potion) into the house to kill you
From what I understand when I started here and read practically the whole forums for the heck of it, there's been some adjustments to specifically make sure it's not super easy to house-kill people here, at least if you're in the middle of the house. If you're macroing in there and worried just get naked and leave the stuff you need nearby to restock before you go AFK?
Also best house to stay loot safe for those worried about that or not at a level to buy a house that has enough secures and lock downs to keep all their stuff safe...what I did was make a generic character with like no real skills and put then permanently in the back of my large patio. It has a permanent table to the back half of the main room, that char is the ONLY character that EVER has access to the back of that area and the other back room (some people use stools to travel to back, i don't as there is still risk). If I need something, I log that char and hand the stuff over the table, if it needs to go to a char on that account it get placed on table for the couple of seconds it takes to switch chars or I hand it over to another chaacter til that one can be switched...I have a keep also, but my patio is where I keep my really expensive or rare items. yes I sacrifice one of my 15 chars for it, yes it can be a tiny hassle sometimes, but I have never been looted for anything in that house. Now keep in mind you can really do this with ANY house even a small by just making your own permanent table wall and never unlocking it and parking a char behind it permanently. Just an idea for those new players and Sorry @Preyas for possibly messing up some of you fun
All houses have a safe area in the center, you cannot cast or throw pots into houses here, more than 2 tiles from any exterior wall I'd safe in any home.
