imbueing mask of wilds into mask of your choice

Would be neat to have mask of wilds + plat and say imbue it into a mask of your choice ( in my case 1150 bear mask) with draw backs.

Drawbacks:maybe item is bound to that character?
plat cost - 250 - 300 plat?
Maybe another item to add in the mix?

I just dislike the hockey mask but would like the the +3 bonus on my bear so i can rock pure 1150

Option 2 - 10k iron ingots or 10k of all regs & 350-400plat

I agree that the mask is fugly.

I agree with a heavy plat or gold cost.

Since pretty much everyone agrees that the mask is ugly this could be a nice plat sink.

Blessed slayers first please...this is not just a vanity item, so no, lets not make tamers even more desirable to play.

I say make the mask spawn in four variants: the deer mask, the bear mask, and both tribal masks. Then, on top of it, add a platinum reward to change the appearance of specifically this item to any of the variants. Making it newbied/blessed/bound is a bad idea.

The mask is ugly. It will always be ugly.

I am not in support of imbueing.

I feel once we start this journey it never ends. Should I be able to destroy any mask and get the dye back?

I had a blessed one on Catskills! Sure... I found it laying on the ground at a bank already blessed (found a blessed full apron on the ground too a few months later)...but dammit it was mine and I owned that WWF wrestler wannabe look! That said it seems a bear mask or deer mask would more fit the style of a tamer. It would be neat to be able to change the appearance for a hefty plat fee or have it start dropping in random styles like Namarra suggested.

You guys can suck my masks. I collect this type and overall hockey masks are the best looking! But your bad taste is my gain as these mask types sell cheapest usually and I own alot uniques too due to low desirability.

No. It's part of the story. Animals will obey you more because of that style of mask, not a bear mask.

I like to believe they are called Mask of the Wilds and have that design for one reason. I think the beauty of this game is its design and concept put into it.
I like to thing that the mask has its own design and that's why it has this effect on animals. Not a bear mask, or a deer mask.

Same way that the Mask of Orcish Kin will not aggro orcs. Imagine how ridiculous would it be to imbue this mask on a deer mask and all of a sudden all orcs ignore you with a deer mask. It's just plain stupid. If you all want to abuse this design of the game in benefit of vanity, ok, but it's just sad.

All told, I think having +skill bound to vanity items is pretty lame regardless. It could be a more common drop and something you can't bless. That would keep it more appropriate, kind of like oh, I dunno, every single item in the game that gives +skill.
