Hello ladies and gents. I'm new here. Played Ultima Online on the Baja server around 97-2000. Haven't played UO in years. I ran across a random UO video on YouTube and thought to myself.."wow that looks fun. I miss it." So I found this server after alittle research and it seems great. Really looking forward to getting skilled up and leveled up. Just need the time to do it now. I've read a few of the guides and I'm training my stats right now. Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and looking forward to seeing you out there.
Welcome! Tip #1 - Join IRC. Bank sitting/selling isn't like the old days. People mostly socialize in IRC. It's a great place to ask questions and to see what's happening in the shard. Thanks for the tips. I think I will take my time and re-familiarize with the game. Is there a "power hour" on this server like there was in the actual game years ago?
No. But there also is not the anti-macro code that made powerhour necessary. Skill gain is moderately fast. You can macro skills as long as they don't produce resources gathering like mining, LJ

Welcome to UOR. A provo, mage is a good starting char for farming gold. I have a provo house on occlo for training, if you want to use it hit me up on irc. while that char is macroing provo pick cotton with another char, then sell it to other players.

I was "Akiria" (have no idea why that name) "Steve" "Evets" and "Stevee" or something along those lines. I was into pvp alot. Not sure if I still want to do that now or not. Played around with few LoD.
