Selling keep on grass *As is... everything stays S/B 2.5m Auction ends 48 hours after last bid Min bid increase of 100k B/O 5m Plat @ 9k
This Court Yard is EXTREMELY compromised. I have, as well as many others have the entire thing marked. With proper security you should be fine if you are careful. Bump.
not surprising to see you posting things like this in the threads of people you don't like sad the mods don't do anything about these kinds of posts
Because he's giving out valuable info someone would probably want to know before buying a house? Lol..
honestly napo, i'm glad he posted it. Yes, it is sad. It's sad our game is corrupted by these few that claim "its all part of the game". But i would much rather a crook letting me know he is going to rob me, than one who shows up unexpected.
We both know what would happen if I went to one of bart's threads and implied that I had the CY rune to one of their sales and that I was going to use it. Buyer beware and wanting people to know that courtyards might not be secure is one thing, intimidating potential buyers is something completely different.
The more i think about it, the more i realize about a generation that doesn't appreciate hard work. Seems more and more people want a hand out, would rather steal than put in labor. Honestly, i think the game is a scapegoat for their real personalities.. maybe thats why they put in so much time on Ultima Online. Maybe they should put in more hours on the clock, and less hours on the web
If you went to his thread and let me know you had runes marked in the cy I would want to know that, and I wouldn't take any history between us as a negative thing from you because that's pretty important info to have when buying a home with cy space.
Every CY is compromised.... unless specifically stated in the thread that the CY is secure should you assume so. I didn't think I had to state the obvious. Regardless this thread is dead. House is being stripped and items sold and relisted after item values are deducted from 2.5m. At this point I may just keep it because keeps/fort prices will sky rocket after moats get released IN THE NEXT FUCKING PATCH. Ive always tried to stay respectful in the trade forums - Dont say anything unless you are bidding or asking a legitimate question. Occasionally I may get heated but its only in threads that I was actively bidding in. I tend to PM or IRC the OP if I have concerns or comments.
I'm not sure whether Bart said it maliciously or not, my point is, regardless of his reason, wouldn't you want to know if people had access to private space in a house you were about to drop a couple mil on? That's all I'm saying. Oh well lol I really don't care.
Wanna put some money down on it? 2 mil Next time they post a house I'll go into the thread and subtly announce my intent to PK any potential buyers, let's see what happens. That CYs are compromised is common sense. Every time someone that Bart and friends see a CY being sold by someone they dislike, one of them shows up to post about how the CY is compromised and all of the nasty PKs on the server have runes to it. You can't believe this is simply a case of them wanting to warn potential buyers.
"Please only post bids please" That is all that would have to have been added to the post, along with using the report feature to control the content in your sale thread. It is not the job of the staff to deal with trade forum drama, pvp drama bleed over. You all do not like each other, we all understand that. If you are unhappy with the content in your sales posts, then be clear, post rules, and report the content that does not comply with your posted rules. http://uorforum.com/threads/trade-forum-code-of-conduct-updated-6-10-16.17309/ Every CY on the server should be considered compromised, with the advent of the moat system players will be able to have a fresh start with their countyard access. All things that could have/should have been mentioned in the post if you wanted to improve the chances of selling the house. If something is going to affect your ability to sell this house, it is the amount of players who have 2.5 to 5 million gold who are interested in a large keep.
So basically anyone that doesn't state "bids only" is opening the thread up to mayhem. Kind of like it should just be a rule. "bids only/legit questions or gtfo." Didn't take more than 1 comment on the subject to get the rules changed at that other place which made things more peaceful. Blaise types have been allowed to run rampant here since the servers inauguration. BTW I didn't report shit on this subject or the two threads they closed early / "refused to sell to me because of my actions on the trade forum." Quite funny how people are reporting shit on my behalf because they see how fucking ridiculous the rules are on this sub thread and the behavior of said fucktards.
Sellers are allowed to define whatever rules they wish as long as they conform to the rules posted here. http://uorforum.com/threads/trade-forum-code-of-conduct-updated-6-10-16.17309/#post-155339 You cannot however, post minimal to no details, and then report the comments of players who add such details or comment on the sale in a neutral manner. Such as is the case of this thread where comments from other players were reported, and demanded be removed. If you wish to manage the content in a trade forum thread you create then you must define what is acceptable, not acceptable when creating the thread. If you are only asking for bids and do not want to allow comments, opinions, banter, value assessments, bids by certain players you need to declare that when making the thread. Otherwise the staff will not get involved unless a standard rule is broken. If a seller wishes to refuse to acknowledge the bids from players they do not wish to do business with, they can do that as well, as long as they make it clear in their initial post that this is the case. If Erlkonig only wanted bids placed in this thread, he is welcome to do that as well. Expecting the staff to play referee when posters are not clear with their postings is unrealistic. Take responsibility for your own postings, and report the content that does not comply with your expectations/trade forum rules. Note: This is a generalization, but in the case of this thread, 3 players (not the seller) demanded comments from other players be removed, one report insinuated the staff were corrupt for not deleting the reported posts they personally did not like. We are out of time to babysit adult male players at this point, so be clear with your postings and manage the comments using the report feature , or don't use the trade forums if you cannot handle a diverse community of players.
