Heya, quick question here: Does lumberjacking use real skill or shown skill to determine bonus damage? in my case, my guy is sitting at 40.5 real, and 50.0 shown. With the given formula, am I doing: (40.5/ 10 ) -2) = 2.05 bonus damage? or (50/ 10 ) -2) = 3.00 bonus damage? Thanks in advance!
Pretty sure it would be still +3. What Bogugh means is that 50 isn't the skill level where he gains more damage bonus than he previously had a point earlier since it rounds. So 45 is when it starts being +3 damage since 45 / 10 - 2 = 2.5 which when rounded is 3. At 50 it'd still be +3. So 45 to 54.9 = +3 Damage. 55 to 64.9 = +4 damage, 65 to 74.9 = +5 damage, etc etc.
You get an extra +1 if you are GM. So: 95 /10 - 2 would give you +8. With GM skill it'd be 100 /10 -2 and then +1 for the GM bonus. At least according to the info page on Lumberjacking
