Weapons DPS compare tool

This thing exist?

I would like a tool to compare 2 weapons and see the DPS.

Example:

+10 katana of force and repond
vs
+10 axe of power and repond.

or

+10 bow of vanq
vs
+20 bow of power


It could be REALLY handly to choose where to spend money

It doesn't have a "slayer" setting, but you can just double it.

There's been Combat Log books on Test before that show all sorts of neato information like that. Currently they would not be accurate to the production shard, simply because test is on a different patch level. Hopefully that gets updated soon so we can really test the next patch before release.

Getting Test updated and combat logs re-released is a huge deal

We can get combat log books on test still, the data is just fairly useless.

You can, but they aren't available to the average user without jumping through some hoops. I want them back on the ground in the test lobby (after Test is updated)

Well, after test the spreadsheet, it seems a katana of might is better than a exec axe of power. (no lj)
katana= 14 dps avg
exec axe=13 dps avg

I'm still thoroughly convinced the katana is broken in that its speed should be swapped with the kryss. I'm pretty sure somewhere down the line the speeds were switched in the patch notes that were made public and/or even in the code (on OSI). There's no way the kryss (oversized dagger) should be slower than a katana.

(Other than the war axe which is a mace...go figure)

Pickaxe, but not sure it's getting the LJ bonus. Never tested.

I remember the kyrss had slightly more speed, the kat had slightly more damage. Thought that was common UO knowledge.

Seemingly everyone does. There was even a long ass thread on UOSA forums about it. They changed katana speed to 48 after some research, then Kaivan found some crazy other way to explain the bizarre time period where the katana was fastest and they reverted the change.

Back when I played OSI, I remember everyone using a katana (even me) because it kicked serious ass. Then again, back then I didn't hang out with people who went balls deep into analysing everything.

My main goal was to compare a katana of might vs a axe of power.
With the spreadsheet (ty capt!) I know the answer.
To be honnest, since i was a kat(maybe 2-3months) my life is better.
