Establishing a standard for trusting others on this shard - Introducing UO Passport

I know an active PK who has his tamer in PS. I don't know if he uses your guildchat to look for targets, but i wouldn't be suprised. I know TnT suspected people of doing that before too and had to purge the guildstone. Any guild that deals primarily in helping new players would benefit from something like this. If it is an optional setting like suggested too it it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Most people don't take the time to check or uncheck their kill and death history, but i find them useful for similar reasons.

It is drastic and against the spirit of anonymity that ultima is use to but it is worth discussing at least.

Good principle, bad plan.

We are aware that one of the guild members has an active PK char - they dont hide that fact. But i can guarantee that they have never once targeted anyone inside the guild. All PS members go the extra mile for one another.

How do you know we're talking about the same person? Honest question. I highly doubt that we are. It sounds like your guaranteeing me that out of your whole roster of 156 only one person has a pk? Does that really sound believable? Could you tell me whether or not i got a character in your guild, with 100% certainty? Could you tell me who my PKs are?

Im not saying its happening in your guild, im just saying that its something to think about and be aware of. TnT has had our chat ghosted before and I wouldn't put it above people to do that kind of stuff. Hell, I just read pill's post about joining a guild to kill guildies and take their stuff that he put up in donnie's going away thread.

To clarify, that wasn't something I did over time, while pretending to be a nice guy. It was as simple as they were recruiting members, I joined and the onslaught began same day.

I think this is a great idea. My business on UO revolves around my stellar reputation, rightly so, I want to be one of the first to adopt this new protocol of high virtue individuals and character.

Delete all accounts, allow one account per IP and one character per account.

Also stimulate the economy since everyone won't have a full arsenal of crafters.

Why are you posting on different accounts when we already saw that you are the same person, in the UO passport posted on your snap dragon account above?

In some weird way this would actually be quite nice...
