Hello Everyone, new player to the shard but I played UO for several years when it came out. One of my sons played and got me hooked on it, for a while there it was the only thing he enjoyed doing with me :) I got my revenge though, he now works for the same large technology company I do and listens to 80's rock...so BAM!

One question I have is whether or not it is possible to place a home on this shard. For me something I really enjoyed was having a stopping place for my characters to share. On a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being "hahaha...he said place a home") how hard is it to find a little corner to tuck a small house in to? Just in case you are wondering...yes I searched the forum and looked through the first few pages to see if someone had asked this recently. I tried...I really did :)

I'm looking forward to playing and hope to see some of you (especially anyone that can rez a newbie) in game.

    Hello and welcome!

A place for a house you need to look for and you can find it by running around the world!

But you can buy a house on a trade forum. In some ways, it's even simpler and there is a choice of great places, you just need not miss a good offer!

    Such an offer >>>

I hope it was useful, look, look, choose, buy and play :)

    Regards,
    Kiryana!

Thanks so much....it's great to know that it is actually possible! Now, I am trying to save up enough money to keep enough bandages, so it might take me a while. :)

Welcome here. There are plenty places for houses, especially small. Otherwise like others said, lots of good deals. Have fun, and don't hesitate to mesage me here on IRC if you need any further assistance. 80s rock, not bad!

<<<By the way, to learn skills and the initial entrance to the game in the town of Occlo just above the dock, there are temporary shelters for beginners, look, I think it's very convenient to close from varishek and people and calmly pump the necessary skills :)

    Just Started in Feb Personally.

Placed a L Shape a couple of weeks ago. Someone asked in IRC if I wanted it.

Tower and UP is where you start having trouble =D

There are lots of small and medium sized house locations. If you are interested in buying one I have a few for sale. But you can easily make enough in a week or two to place a nice small tower. There are still lots of places free and I've seen a lot of houses drop this week in fact. I just placed a small sand stone, a small tower, a log cabin, and upgraded one of my locations to an L-shaped large two story in just the last 2 weeks.

Also, don't buy bandages (in case you were serious about buying them)! Just get cotton and spin it into cloth in Ocllo. In an hour you can have a 4 months supply of bandages :).

You can run a multi-million gold operation out of a small house. Anything beyond that is fluff.

Scale of 1-10 for small house spots? I'd say 15.

How cool is that! I will definitely go check them out. I had no idea they were there. I have not left Occlo yet so this will be great. Thanks!!

There are about 20+ small house spots, along the mountains, just between the chaos shrine and yew.

There's hassle-free tower placement... but would you say there is hassel-hoff tower placement?

    (I'll show myself out now)

I love making stuff instead of buying it...I'm assuming you get cotton from plants...I'll check in to that and see where to find it. Thanks!!

Hi there! I appreciate the offer for sure. I am going to stay in the newbie zone for awhile, I think that's the only thing keeping me alive as much as i am right now. Thanks so much though!
