PLEASE revert the last patch until things are FIXED

I am still trying to figure out why it has been left in for this long, when it's apparently not functional. STILL can't use poison in a fight in any town, including Bucs Den or the Duel Arena! Tracking is obviously useless now. The patch did not do what was originally intended, which was to simply prevent cross-dungeon tracking. Lots of people frustrated. Can we just back this thing out until we have an actual fix - this current patch remaining implemented doesn't seem to be the solution.

I disagree, I say burn the midnight oil and FIX THE PROBLEMS!

@Chris, I was told that a small down time between leps and easter was supposed to happen for a hot fix on the poison and one other thing....

This is not typically the way things are handled in any IT situation. If an application update is implemented that breaks the application or makes it function in manner other than designed, it is customer impacting at that point and the change is backed out until a real solution can be put in place. Given, I know this is a video game server, and it's not of the exact same nature, it is still something we all invest a lot of time into playing and these changes are majorly impacting to a lot of players and a lot of people are frustrated over it. If the "fix" is 2 days away, ok I understand, we've gone this long and might as well weather the storm. However if there is no relief in sight and the date is simply tentative, back that sucker out until this can be fixed.

Is the rubber-banding off absolutely everything part of the last patch?

Last I checked, he was busy trying to fix the server lag issue. Guessing that might delay some other items.

Poisoning has been fixed! Tracking still pending. Lag seems better after the recent maintenance (so far).

Idk about the lag. It's been almost unbearable for me. I'll be in the middle of a fight and just flat out freeze for several minutes before losing connection. Never had this happen until recently.

The night I posted (Friday) it seemed ok running around, but I did notice some today running in between houses. From what I've seen, it seems to happen more during peak hours (after 3pm CST), before that I am fairly lag free.

I have noticed the same thing. Weekends are laggier than weekdays for me because I don't get on peak times during the week.

Poison the spell has not been fixed. Tried it yesterday in duel arena and it was coming up with the system message about not being able to use it in town/guards area.

Hmm that is strange. After the restart Friday I tested it in bucs den as well as Occlo and it was confirmed working.

I just cast it on my self in town and it was working. The original intention was to stop players from creating new accounts to just spam poison in town and town kill. So you are probably getting hit with an account age restriction @eatmyshorts

I could not cast poison in town. But just earlier today I killed someone in town with poison. So.. seems fixed at least for me. How long is the "age restriction" ?

There's a difference between targeting yourself and targeting someone else.

If that's the case then hopefully a staff member can clarify what the restriction is.
