Haven't been on a lot lately made a vendor thinking I'll throw some items and rares ect up I like at high rates if they sell they sell. Well I n a rush forgot to pay vendor post putting items up my stupidity was someone's free fortune. They got a 2017 Easter pelt, herb basket, some slayers, rare fishing net & some other stuff. I don't expect them to give me any of the stuff back, although that would be great Haha but it would relieve some of the pain to at least know who it was that got the lucky find.
Was like a week ago I felt dumb at first cause to be honest I forgot about the mechanic where it adds to the vendor cost after adding items. Lol anyone got a rope and a chair? All I can do is laugh about it now I guess
Holy shit and then an angel appeared, the name Phaero. Gave it all back to me. Faith restored. Long live UO
Happy you got it all back, but if you wanted your very first rare net back, why were you selling it in the first place?
I had the items I actually wanted to keep on vendors overpriced knowing odds are people won't buy. Not understanding the vendor mechanics. I didn't want to sell it but if someone bought it for 200k I could accept parting with it. Lesson learned lol.
I would guess, the feeling of accomplishment, from having participated in the game's culture and found a way to enter the market like an experienced player. Also, to know that its possible to "move upward" in the game, without an elite player always stopping you from reaching similar levels of status. Basically, feeling that the UO community (at least on this shard) reflects something superior than what we non 1%'ers experience in real life .
