Proposal: Add Housing Trade Forum

As title states. I think it would be nice to be able to shop, price match, and sell in an area designated for housing rather than sift through a bunch of misc sales postings. After all, housing stands apart from any other item in this game. And finding that perfect house/location is extremely important for many players.

I like your enthusiasm but that many categories can get muddied quickly when items with blurred definitions hit the market.

Especially when there's multiple items for sale.

voted NO... think of the administration nightmare... setting up additional forums, policing posts that in the wrong category...

Not to mention the "fights" that will break out amongst posters when some well meaning know-it-all takes it upon themselves to berate folks for not posting in the correct manner or forum...

Is it a solution looking for a problem?

He's proposing to add one subforum: housing. I don't see how that can add any confusion?

Here's an idea... maybe everyone use the little "tower" icon indicating if you're selling a house, then if the forums could be tweaked where you could "sort" posts in the trade forum by clicking those little icons, like say you wanted to buy a house, you click something to sort by large tower icon, and all the housing being sold comes up in order of date and so on. Basically sorting trade forums by category rather than having their own subforum.

You can actually sort by date and so on already, all it would need is the icons to show up on the side of the screen and be sortable by them

I support this idea much more than creating new subforums.

Great idea ! To help it along, the poster needs to check the little icons.. I try to, but I forget a lot

I agree, if icons were REQUIRED and SEARCHABLE. That would make me just as happy.
