Why is this not a thing?

Or is that too trammel for all you ub3r 1337 super c00l guys?

And before you ask the idiotic question of 'Why not just buy from the provisioner?' take a few moments to think about that and if you can't come up with an answer, I probably can't simplify it enough to help you understand the reason why.

Very good question really. Carpenters are able to make many different containers but pouches are very neat indeed. I bought 20 yesterday but would have made them if it was possible as carpentred boxes do take space.

I actually like this idea. Every time I go to a provisioner to purchase all the bags they have, I wonder why they didn't make them craftable. I would like to see this. ;)

Sounds like quite the lie. If you really were so repulsed by the idea of mentioning it, you wouldn't've.

Thanks for the heads up Debbie Downer. I'll be sure not to suggest any good ideas ever because other things are higher up on the list and the possibility of adding this is so super amazing crazy bad time consuming unimportant. Fantastic input.

I doubt to code that additional item into the tailoring menu is that time intensive and it could probably be put on there.

A great idea! 125 items be damned! But your main pack would still have the 125 item limit. So maybe GM tailors could craft backpacks that could hold say 200 items but you'd have to bless the backpack unless you want it to be lost upon death.

I like the idea of buying already trapped pouches from a vendor for a premium

    HIJACK ATTEMPT DETECTED!

That sounds good and all but you can't trade trapped items so it would stand to reason you can't buy them. And it would take away from the bonus of making a crafter.

To bend your quote from IRC:
Who the hell buys a million pouches?! (for that to be a viable gold sink)

Yeah this would be from the provisioner. Sorry I did hijack but I want the provisioner to sell already trapped pouches dammit!

With lesser traps, sure. But I don't know how the code is for flagging in regards to a pouch so it may be more difficult to enact and keep people from flagging the provisioner. Or atleast give you 'trapping equipment' that requires no skill and can be used to trap said pouch yourself.
