This ^ is ON POINT and exactly why we need to adjust (a.k.a. perfect) the mechanics. This world has changed over time, we must not ignore that fact.

I think dexxers should be looked into. Dexxers are at a bit of a disadvantage without reflect jewels/clothing like OSI. Along with the other disadvantages mentioned by others this puts dexxers as almost unviable in field fights. Wonder how the top 3 dexxers vs top 3 mages would turn out? Glad OP took the time to look into this. Thanks @Broli for mentioning it to @Chris and thanks @Loxness for taking the time to initiate change for the better.

The only way to balance the risk would be blessed weaponry or massively increased drop rates of said weaponry.

    Fixed it for you buddy!

Speaking of, can a mod of some sort clean up the nonsense in here? People are trying to have serious conversations about fixing the 'Dexxer' class and others are doing their best to derail it?

Seems like someone doesn't understand the nature of conversation. When engaged in conversation you may find opinions contrary to, in accordance with, or completely unrelated to, your own opinion.

I don't see a lot of off topic posting in this particular thread really. Let's not forget this conversation has been ongoing for nearly five years on this shard alone, in many threads.

These are all relevant right? As you notice, I write LONG DRAWN OUT POSTS that most people here who don't care to read or simply don't want dexxers balanced. Sooooo they/you (Yes I am talking to YOU, if the shoe fits) attempt to derail the thread with nonsense one or two line sentences, stupid pictures of no relevance, or "OUT OF CONTEXT" one liners from tons of information being presented. Apparently, 80% of these people (Yep, still talking to YOU!) never learned how to debate & intake information and rebuttal. So I will continue to counterpoint every bit of nonsense (And sometimes, even counter the stupid/sarcastic ones as well just to prove a point) you attempt to derail, and put it back on point.

It is clear as day that people have attempted to do this in the past but gave up due to the troll-nature of the "top end" pvpers who don't want their template to be approached on a fair/balance ***HISTORY PERFECTED*** platform. But, I will continue to beat the drum and prove that it needs done. And continue to deal with trollish slander, and put it in it's place.

Long live the "History Perfected" Dexxer on UOR!!

And waiting for Chris to at least reply!

PS: At least I had a picture with "IN GAME" stats.

PSS: AND THAT WASN'T EVEN MOVING!!

PSSS: At least I got most people's attention and they are offering (For the most part) their constructive opinions. That has to count for something.

    no more bargaining !

we dexxers should make a guild under a faction and attack everyone who not from our kind.

If your theory was that the hit rate is too low when moving, why wouldn't you test the hit rate when moving?

What would my picture show you? I tested the 200 jousts on main server, not test, so I couldn't show a battle log. It doesn't take long if you want to check the results for yourself.

Ya, as a dexxer/tamer I am always moving around my tames to hit targets. Hit rate when moving is at least 50% if not more from my experience.

    This is great.

I'm curious, how would weapon bonding work? On ANY death it is blessed? Or once looted by another monster/player?

I do think fixing parry and a option to bond or higher drop rates of mid tier slayers would help greatly.

That might be true @Keza but I don't believe you are doing PvP against stun/wrestling mages on that template too often lol.

I am not speaking for anyone here, but I am pretty positive weapon "bonding" or "blessing" is far too trammel for this server. And with that said, will probably never happen. **Outside of faction blessed weapons**

Broli actually said a video for you @El Horno , I was being a wise ass and saying at least I had a picture.

Clearly, this was the first testing. Which is "seemingly" inconclusive in some regards for multiple reasons.

    1. Apparently 4000+ swings isn't enough information for people to take seriously for the "RNG" or "dice rolls" to matter

    2. Not moving while fighting (A theory that needs testing, yet, seems pointless with no interaction from staff)

    3. Test center, which at the time I didn't know, had some different patches/rulesets

    4. I was un-aware "50% display" meant "48% in reality" in the "battle journal" when 100 fencing meets 100 wrestling (Again, without moving)

    5. Test center wasn't up the last time I tried to log on (If it is, are the patches even up to date yet?)

Really, now that buying/selling perfect dragons to bond is becoming more common place, bonding a weapon should be no different.

Make it so a bonded weapon takes 5 companion slots, so that you can only have one bonded at a time.

If you flip a coin 4,000 times, would you expect exactly 2,000 heads and 2,000 tails?
