IRC chat for a mac user

    I click the link and it won't load the chat does anyone know how to fix this?

    use a 3rd party program suitable for your inferior machine

    I have never had an issue loading it from the link on the Renaissance page and I'm on a mac.

    thanks guys not sure why it won't load in safari, tbh i am new on mac and i dont have a clue

    Make sure you have a flash player installed. The web irc client link on the website uses flash. Might be disabled in your safari or not installed at all. (Flash is kind of dead these days). Here is how to check. If it's installed and should be working, just uninstall and re-install it.


    If you don't want to use flash you could try kiwi (it uses html5/js).

    Set the Channel to: #renaissance

    Just click the tiny "server and network" link/drop-down and use these details:

    Server: irc.chat4all.org
    Port: 6667
