About the town invasion last night.

thank you so much for it @Chris Would it be possible to have these types of events more frequently? I am no programmer so I do not know the difficulties that go with trying to do something like this but I had a blast it was a lot of fun

I think this stuff on a regular schedule would be a blast - not the same thing over and over, but more like - Sunday nights there is going to be something! I'd have been on, if I had known...

I missed this! Gutted!

Seems like the sort of event that could go a long way in promoting the server with even a couple days notice. I've been missing them for 9 months straight now.

If, and big " if " the staff had time to structure these events more often I would love to see them once a weekend! Probably best to randomize the times and switch between Saturday and Sunday so people from all locations can benefit. Would also be nice if the town criers started talking 2 hours prior to start

What is it about these types of events that get you excited like this?

The loot potential?
The group play aspect?

PEOPLE SHOW UP AND PLAY IN THE SAME AREA TOGETHER. OMFG. WITH A FELLUCA RULE SET.

Having reds and blues "farm" in the same area hell I did not even come on a red I killed a few mobs with my tamer first and then came on my blue and started fighting other reds. It was great

Fishermen get off their boats, BoDs leave the smithy....

And shad takes one of his 7 BoD accounts offline to bring his tamer in....

That's gotta be worth something.

I think we can expect random invasions like this whenever the ingame population is high. Sadly I was asleep when this happened or I was in the process of waking up. I had to catch up on the events through Keza's video in the Photography & Videography section of the forum.

Why aren't these announced ahead of time? It would require little effort, no coding, and would enable far more of the population to participate.

Where's the fun in that, j/k, I was in IRC at the time and didn't even really notice it till it was 3/4 the way done.

Please, yes. I've been missing these every time it seems. I've got a job + two kids -- a little notice / forum post would make a huge difference. I can't be the only one in this situation.

Regardless, kudos to @Chris for putting it on. I think this stuff goes a long way.
