Has there been any discussion about manking runebooks newbiefied?

I'm cool either way, I just personally think it would populate other areas like dungeons etc more.

It would obviously be beneficial to have a charged up runebook immediately upon your person after dying somewhere unfortunate and being rez'd.

Not true. If you can leave your chars logged in you will be collecting 30 plat per month. So without playing...AT ALL you can afford it in 9 months, and still have 20 plat for something else.

Not true either. Other than some prime real estate (including fortresses/keeps) all other housing up to large towers sell for little over deed price. I cannot understand where you might get the notion that the economy is "bad" or houses are triple the value. Triple the value of what?

As long as you're not after a fortress, keep or large tower tell me what you want and I'll find you a spot where you can place it.

Its a goal to strive toward. Blessing a runebook is not a small thing. Once you buy it, you'll never lose your runebook unless you make a mistake (like putting it into a bag inside your pack or something). How much are you willing to pay for that kind of security? I got mine after playing here for 6 months, and I was so proud of myself. I think the price is appropriate when you consider what you get for it.

I keep 80 tunes on me at all times and only mark 3 of them so even when I die I'm an asshole to the guy looting me.

In hindsight, I'm glad for the 250 plat price for a blessed book. It gives you goals to achieve.

I like how expensive the runebook blessing is. There's actually a runebook market. Same with Etherals. This is one of the first player ran shards where you actually see regular mounts everywhere.

I keep all my tunes on my phone. I got a lot more than 80, though.
