Entry for Best Decorated Massive House This is where I'm spending most of my retirement. I was really fortunate to find this spot of land years ago. Took me about a year to realize a tower would fit next door and bridge over. Very glad to have figured that out! The entire thing has just grown and evolved over time. I am really happy with where things are at and looking forward to filling out a few more rooms over the next year. Skyway allows for easy restock and access to the Fortress and Tower. Big thanks to 555 and @frenulum for the sandal display. Rooftop Garden and Spirit Cooking Room. The tall warrior statue was a gift from @Dalavar - thank you again and hope you return to UO:R eventually! Full view of the Garden, Map Collection, and Chess Set. For those interested, these are some very old rares - an acrid wyvern scale, bola balls, blackrock fragment, blackrock shard, and emerald fragment. I owe a big thanks to @Lyta , @Treasureman , and @ReZon for making the triple tall statue setup possible. Been working on the Halloween Display and Alchemy Classroom lately - excited how its turning out. The shimmering runes here might still be my all time favorite rare! The event showcase. Another Large entry Patio House or as I call it the office This is where the work gets done of my UO life, my office as I call it. First when walking in I like to have an area to great people and offer some refreshments. Nice selection of books if someone has a reading bug or comfy seating around the warm wood stove. Being a person who likes the finer things in UO life, needed a place to relax and depending on weather hold meetings. This lovely smelling rose garden has a wonderful fire pit, shaded area to sit thinking over how to close that big deal and sweet smelling roses. Now the most important room my office. Plenty of space for work at my desk and just love my comfy stone chair. Now this last room I keep locked up but I'll show you the factory floor. Find these "employees" work best if they never have to get up from their station. Walkway allows one to drop off more raw materials so I never have down time.
Such amazing entries this year... maybe next year Ill have more to show. For now: Most Unique Design Element one lockdown glowing herb garden!
After seeing how awesome these houses are I think I might actually put more than some marble tables with chests on them in some of my houses. Does anyone decorate houses?
Category: Massive House Pirate Fortress The Pirate Fortress is tucked away in pure seclusion. The trademark skull and cross bones are the only true way of knowing its location. On the top level of the Fortress -- All of the defenses are laid out to prevent any on coming attacks form the East. On the West side of the base, the negotiations are held, and if those go wrong, all the executions. Deep within the fortress water ways allow the pirates to get around easily, while they conceal there treasures from the outside world. Only a select few have known the way into the secret base. Below the base, only the Captain himself regularly ventures. On occasion a select few guests will make there way inside to truly see into the inner workings of the Pirate Base. Best Decorated Massive House Hail! This is my humble house! My deco is always clean and organize, hope you feel the "cozy" factor ! Thank you to my friend @Canis to let my own this Shore coasts Keep. All pieces are nammed with a french title "Le donjon" (full view) "Le salon" Yeah, drink a beer(s) near a nice fireplace. Nothing better! "La chambre à coucher" Yes, you can sleep well here, near the sea! "La salle des trophées" My humble ironman trophies collection & my Unique Bravehart victory reward ( thank you @Evil Dead ) "La réserve" a simple storage room "La salle des Trésors" Sorry thieves, thoses chests are secures. All my goodies are inside "La salle à manger" Enought place to eat with friends. "La salle a manger" is simple but great(imho ). "La cour avant" Located south trinsic near the sea, this front courtyard is simply amazing. Hope you enjoy the visit! More houses to come : "Le chalet" and "Le salon Mortuaire"
Those rope bridges on the upper floor should be a unique design element too, @Arnold Lutz . They caught my eye immediately. The effort you have put in is impressive, and appreciated.
Category: Large House Spent a little time on my entrance. 1st Floor: Though it was some tedious work, I was really happy when it started coming together. And thanks to @Crunk Juice for great timing when he posted these mercenary statues on forum trade right when I started this project. They guard entry into the rest of the tower along with my 1st floor treasure room. Also Submission for Unique Design: You Shall Not Pass 2nd Floor: My armory/weapon/sparring room with Amib trophy display and my Potion Pouring Station. 3rd Floor: Instruments, lockpicking station, wand and scroll storage. Roof: Workshop area with a small area to relax and overlook my friendly neighborhood lizardmen and alligators. Another area I really enjoyed doing especially when things start coming together. Thank you to everyone who had what I needed on their vendors and what I was able to find on the trade forum. @Canis was always stocked at his moonglow shop with what I needed when I had a spur of the moment idea.
