OMG WOW! The last round of the scavenger hunt events was so much fun, and so frustrating! I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to see an invisible maze open for public use for when we get bored! Who's with me?!
Soooooo there is supposed to be an invisible maze in Wrong. That big empty room through one of the teleporters is supposed to house said invisible maze
Kirby you are an evil, evil fisherman. Addendum: If the maze regularly changed, then I'd be for this. But a static invisible maze? Noooooope.
I was gonna say.... that room caused the brigands so much grief during one of the Find and Kill chumbucket events lol
Haha yeah it was a bit too black friday for me. If I ever go to one of these things again I'm bringing 3 kegs of full refreshes ... And 7 hired NPC paladins.
Fun idea but think if a lone noob or two run into it and get frustrated thinking the server is buggy.
Yeah. That was an overload of frustration for me. I eventually recalled out and said "F it". I was slightly (only slightly!!) annoyed at Chris for putting us through that. But my frustration was more than the maze. It was trying to get through it with the wife walking in and talking to me, then my 18mo was crawling on me, then the wife gave a bottle to her in my bed, and then got milk everywhere It was just a perfect storm. I couldn't deal with it. I got so angry that night I got a migraine headache. Even though it wasn't all the maze's fault... Just when I think about it, I get flash backs. Oh my... That maze gave me PTSD!* *No offense to anyone who actually has PTSD from real stuff, like war.
I loved it. It was frustrating, and seemed impossible until someone in my Mumble figured out the mushrooms and the pathfinding (I still have to turn that back off). Eventually I ran out of mushrooms and just started wildly clicking the ground near the exit like a madman. My poor character hauled ass and I screamed in victory. Hahaha
I hope someone posts a video of them getting through or a detailed explanation of how we were supposed to realize what to do... Mushrooms? Whaaat?
There were mushrooms and little things scattered around. The best way thru was to turn on pathfinding and double-right-click every mushroom you could see until you were able to get to one. That led you near the end, then you just click the exit like a crazy man.
