What houses can you tame off of?

I bought a small marble and threw it in compassion desert to macro taming with. However I ran into some LoS issues. No matter where I try and position myself, eventually the snake or scorpion would move and break my taming attempt. I was wondering if something like a large patio house or large marble would work better? Or will standing on the porch still cause LoS issues?

go look at the other houses in the area and see how they placed the blocking items.

I'm pretty sure you can do it with any house, though it does take a bit of Z-axis fiddling...

So you use blocking items to keep them off you? I was banning everything and trying to tame that way but as i said they would LoS me a lot.

Also get a lot of targets, one target moves a lot, 10-15 not so much

Still want a large house with porch though. Always been my favorite house.
