Question About Fishing

I got 2 last night within an hour of each other.

The newbied pole gives the same results as any other fishing pole. Honestly, I've only crafted 2 fishing poles and those were just for deco. All my fishers use their same fishing poles they got when they first started. They never break, and you can't lose the newbied ones (unless it's on a red char, ofc)

@Cade @Boreder I think it was the last fishing tournament...mighta been the one before it...but throughout the whole tournament (it was either 1 or 2 day tourney), i didn't get a big fish until near the end, but i ended up with like 6 amibs. It's all about how you do with the Random Number Generator (RNG be praised. Amen). As a fisher, the RNG is your God. It rules your life. Pray to it. Go to my RNG Shrine and pay your respects to our Lord and Master.

Not to make you feel bad, but I fished up one on my second cast last night. Probability is a fickle fiend at times.

Are we talking about regular amibs or the colored ones?

AMIBs are all colored. MIBs are the low end bottles and are much more common.

When I use your macro, it just keeps saying clear target over and over and do nothing else.

Nat a bad snag, and I'm truly disappointed in you all for the lack of willingness to share fishing macros and tips.

I don't know about a "clear target" message. Could you take a screenshot of your UO client when its doing it?

I don't have tips really.

My macro, when I'm casting a batch of nets, is the same on all three fishermen:

1. Heal friend
2. Meditate until mana >= 30
3. Corp por on nearest grey monster.
4. Pause 1.75 seconds.
5. Repeat #3
6. Repeat #4
5. Repeat #5
6. Repeat #6

Rinse and repeat til all monsters dead.

Got my first loch lake monster today whilst just regularly fishing. Did a dozen ordinary nets, some of which spawned a grand total of 1 regular serpent

Sorry, It was Aihirman macro that does that. But your will continue to fish and move the ship after a serpent pops up.

I can't get any of them to work right and it's very frustrating.

I just updated mine a week or so ago and nobody has posted in the thread or pmed me asking for help.

I don't doubt that the macros are awesome, but for people to imply they copied and pasted without a smidgen of modifications, I just don't see how that's true, considering I copied and pasted myself. I will go check out the updates, thank you.

The Exec Hotkeys you will have to set up or change-the ones I used here are "target nearest grey" and "last target"

The second Fisher runs the same macro minus Disco- Peace/Mage and the Third is just Fishing with E-Bolts, that is an Eval Mage/Tracker

@Savage my fisher has peace and hiding but I'm considering dropping hiding for provoke, but this works perfectly. Maybe a little too good, it peaces the mob so fast, he doesn't have time to approach the ship and I have to travel over to him to loot. I like killing them on the ship so it saves time. Thnx, mate

How do you guys check the anti macro gump on all 3 fishermen? You obviously can't see all 3 screens at once.
Can you catch big fish with rod? Or does it always be loot off the serpent's corpse?
