I make all 3 screens small enough to see all screens at once on my monitor.

You can either split your screens like @Kirby

Or use multiple monitors or a combination of both.

Big fish are always on the corpses.

As above, I like the triple box. Had to tinker with my game screen size until I found one that allowed the best vision of all 3 at one time.

When it pops up just take your time, you have about a minute and a half to respond unless you're a repeat offender.

This is what happens when you panic, or get distracted, or just fall asleep. Mine was a panic click on the gump screen to get me on that characters screen, and i hit a square...the wrong one.

Well, hope you don't mind a little show and tell for those who haven't experienced it.

This is a triple serpent cast, all three popped at the approximate same time, 1 per pole.

This is a Shipwrecked Kraken, one can be tough depending on your skill sets on the boat, combos of multiple other things with a Kraken can get dicey.

This is a Pirate Ship! Fished up with a Pole! err Net sumthin..

@Savage is there a trick to copy your interface (spell icon locations, etc...) between different characters?

The spell Icons, and all other placements were done manually by some anal retentive dude that probably spent an hour or so setting that stuff up...o_O

Go to C:/Ultima Online/Desktop (or wherever your UO folder is)

In that folder you'll find a list of folders with the names of your in-game accounts. Each of those accounts has the in-game info for each of your chars saved. Find the character who's layout you want to copy to your other characters and copy the file.

Then, delete the files for the character(s) you want to copy the layout to, paste the copied file, and rename it the name of the file you deleted. The next time you open UO on that char, it will have the layout.

Wait.. so you can pull up a kraken or a shipwreck without having to use a net? Just by fishing with a pole? I've been getting screwed then, I've never even pulled a pair of shoes, just stank raw fish.

Those are some pretty clean looking prisons, you should feel lucky @Savage !

With pole fishing, you can't pull up the pirate ship. You can only pull up the kraken. To get the pirate ship with the kraken, you have to use a net.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I have yet to see one vendor on this server selling fish steaks.
So since there isn't a single macro *that I know of* that can fish, kill the mobs, and loot them, why is there an automated anti macro gump for fishing?

Actually, I don't know why fishing, itself, is illegal to do afk. There's nothing you can gain from fishing alone that's worth anything. Killing monsters afk and looting monsters afk are both illegal by themselves, so why is afk fishing also illegal?

Ahh I think it might be because the dude at the docks gives you 1 gp for raw fish.

Do people buy regular MIBs or do they prefer the SOS? And if they do, how much do they sell for? What about the plainly drawn treasure maps?

It would take a LOT of 1gp fish to hurt the server's economy, and that's the main purpose behind the afk gump.

Some people buy them. MIBs and level 1 maps sell for 750-1k each.

I don't want to spread misinformation, and it has been over a year since I fished.....and I am old...

I do not use my nets though, I used about 100 once to test the profit of using them vs selling....that is foggy as well. So until I can find proof that they can be fished up with a Pole, carry on... nothing to see here!

Maybe I can find my post on that Pirate Ship.....Found it and no help.

I guess I may have stop playing UO Forum and play UO for a change, it has been awhile!

You can only get a pirate ship from a net. You will never just fish one up with a pole. 100%!!

Ok, well I can dream...maybe Rob's high pitched metal scream summoned the undead from Davey Jones locker.....Orrrrr, maybe (starts a completely false rumor) Rob's Kick Ass Verite Fishing Pole has the power to do incredible stuff....
