every day It's a long standing known issue. Most users close/reload a few times and it works.... aka 99% of the time it works 100% of the time Others have moved on to a 3rd party IRC program. There are numerous out there unless you're on a mac.
I have the same issue, I suggest to move to discord honestly it's modern lol and every other server uses it, could be a way to attract newer players.
