Yeah the spreadsheet converts the coordinate from the MIB into UOAM coordinates. Once the MIB location is in UOAM it's sooo easy to sail to them.
And, if you are using the spreadsheet, you only need to input the degrees and not the minutes. All you have to do is get close. I went out last night and did a test run - I used @Ahirman 's fishing macro, so needed to get used to it. Even before I fished up a chest, I got a shipwrecked kraken and pulled a purple amib. My hourly is through the roof lol. Because I am fishing as I go (3 fishers), I notice I have to fight a lot of serps.
Sure, as soon as you pass over whatever you're smoking. Duke's map look like a good basis to follow with the numbered starting locations. Majority of the mib's I come across tend to be in the centre of the world either NW or E of Magincia, and another batch on the western side of the map near Skara, so I'll set sail from one of those 2 towns. Just need to find your own rhythm, but all this talk about spreadsheets for co-ordinates is making extra work just for the sake of it, you can fish them up from 60 tiles away so you just need to be nearby, but it takes doing some mib's to figure out a pattern to what way you want to split up the ocean to streamline the fishing. All ya need is UOAM and an assortment of backpacks to arrange your mib's by location in the water with a different backpack for each area, throw em into the container with the rough location relative to where they are inside that area, and you're set, get a boat launched in the water and you can start fishing them up back to back.
looks like i found all the other spots that you haven't got a mib from You did pick up on my sarcasm about the runes - lol.
I just want to thank you so much for taking the time and effort to not only do all of these mibs, but also document the event. I bet the statistics are going to be insane by the end. One question though. Are you going to add the mibs that you acquire, through doing the initial 2100+, to the total amount? To be specific, you say you got 51 or so mibs in the process of doing the first 10%. Are you going to add those to the total now? Keep up the good work man!
And don't forget the "used up time" statistic! For a value/hour calculation later on. Keep up the good work of cleaning Britania's oceans.
So I’m clear you can fish up a shipwrecked kraken from the mib itself and get a amib ? Looks to be 1/50 chance from your 1st post
I suspect he is fishing the whole time that he is moving/fishing up the MIBs. So all the extra MIBs/AMIBs are just incidental.
Alright 20% completed A couple of answers - I am adding the mibs I fish up to the total amount - after each session, I open them up, add them to the spreadsheet and they show up on my map - not keeping track of the time I am spending - I don't think I want to know how much it is and I have been sorting all the stuff as I go. - my main is fishing up the mibs and the other two are just there fishing and for support. i "could" speed this up by giving them a bag of mibs as well This exercise is more of a leaderboard thing for me Apologies for the formatting Onto the stats: 20% completed (444 mibs to date) - 2182 mibs gold - 910k plat - 15 regs - 2300 of each gems - 1300 of each scrolls - 95 of each hides - 2420 bones - 2470 cloth - 1370 bags of shipwrecked junk - 15 mibs fished up - 444 extra mibs acquired - 82 nets acquired - 124 plainly drawn maps - 86 expertly drawn maps - 2 amibs - 2 purp, 2 green, 1 blue - none in this 10% mobs killed sea serpents - 199 deep sea serps - 62 shipwrecked krakens - 5 lock lake - they fear me dolphins - mmmmm Weapons/Armor weapons 1975 platemail 610 leather 485 shields 376 studded 338 bone 316 ringmail 203 chainmail 165 wands - 589
30% complete Jailtime - 2 hours - but that is now cleaned up - I had an old AFK that wasn't removed. Note to self: don't sort mibs in the center of the screen
