so i was up really late last night lumbjacking. I was just doing my thing when POOF! my llama disappears!! (animal was bonded and well fed, was feeding it fruit every hour or so) I spent the next TWO hours running around, combing the area for my MIA pack llama! my question is this: Where in the world did my pack llama go?! I honestly dont mind buying a new pack animal every other day, but it was bonded and well fed did i smell bad? did it not like the shape of my face? i dont get it.... has anyone else experienced their packy just straight, "poof!" ninja vanish!
maybe a mob attacked it and led it away? Isn't there a way to pay a stablemaster/animal trainer to get your bonded pet back?
a relative question. however, i was in protection of town guards with no aggressive spawn, i checked journal. nothing attacked it, and no message it went untamed. looked at status bar and had 0/8 followers

See what you didn’t realize due to their instinctual ninja skills..is that the pack llama was packing more than your typical everyday resources. His name was really Gustav (Russian Swedish llama spy). This guy had enough tnt to blow all the coveted seisure inducing fortresses on dagger isle into the water . They all work for cA Ruthless trained killers chosen from birth to serve their llama lord @chumbucket Unfortunately for you after doing the work of 10 warriors everyday for a few apples here and there... He finally got tired of being your bitch, & super sayian transformed into his true purple form. He then stealthed to ocllo & suicide bombed all the afk bodders at the tailor shop & got banned from the server. Consider yourself lucky he didn’t kill you and your family to. Rip Gustav. I had issues with multiple pilgrim spawns just proofing and disappearing during the Thanksgiving event after they were low on health and got to the edge of the screen while running away. I'm guessing whatever bug that was is what got your Llama, there's definitely something going on
I couldn't have said it better myself! However, Gustav is a most Swedish name but you say it was a Russian llama spy; perhaps you meant he was spying on Russia? Then I agree in the fullest. I had one run off with about 1200 boards...I later found his ass hanging out with other animals and still had my shit on him. So I killed the bastard and looted his ass.
Pretty sure herding works on tamed pets. If afk maybe someone lured it off to do whatever was in their minds they were gonna do. Never had a herding char, but I'm pretty sure those afk guys training taming have led my pets around requiring me to spam all follow me. Just a thought, if you watched it go poof, then that wasn't herding.
