There may be some truth to the Pfniffel's suspicions. There is, indeed, much political upheaval in the lands outside the rule of the despot, Lord British. Jupiter the Grey is certainly a key player in these happenings but what's most troubling is the recent news from the north: It seems King Blaise has set his sights on another. Grizel, sister to Godric and heir to the Greycliff fortune, has been lured to the Kingdom of OoO and held in captivity. It's rumored that Blaise means to wed her and, in the absence of Lord Godric, set his hands on the Greycliff holdings throughout Windmere. As King Blaise is a known cA operative it could be surmised that the wedding of Sherelle to Franz Pfniffel is yet another bid for controlling interest in the Free Cities. What does this all mean and who is the mastermind behind all these seemingly related plots of love and villainy?

Just how many daughters does Lord Godric have?

Godric has no known daughters and, until recently, was a confirmed bachelor. His sister, Grizel, is heir by birth order given the liberal views of gender rights in Stormhold civil courts (not to mention the recent and untimely demise of the third sibling.) In fact, should Godric or Grizel not turn up soon there could be a very nasty legal dispute over rights to the Greycliff estate given that the widowed Grizel is mother to twin daughters known for their ill-temper and the eldest Greycliff in Stormhold at this time is something of a brutish simpleton. Obviously, this does not bode well for the Greycliff line or the local population. . .

This thread will make me famous! While I enjoy every bit of this thread so far, I do want to make it crystal clear that Blaise is not associated with cA in anyway shape or form. I want to make sure any factual assertions be verifiable. Accusations and summations are welcome, but Blaise is not actually a known cA operative and I worry that those suffering from common-sense deficiencies might not understand that this thread is a 'roleplay' and the only truths that can be taken away from it are the actual things we do ingame to play this out.

So to King Blaise, I truly hope the accusations against you are false. If not... well played indeed sir, none of us would have guessed you capable of the cAtrocities of cA. Also, good luck with Grizel, (I hear she wears her beard well.)

To the citizens of Stormhold, if there is one thing I excel at (aside from not dying) it's the meddling in the affairs of the politics of men. I only hope I have meddled to the point of upheaval in Stormhold!

As a follow up, after just having actually paid attention to the previous records of this thread, I guess I have to face palm myself.. Blaise has outted himself as a cA of ill repute!

However, I wonder if the rank and file of the league of shadows would corroborate this?
