    Hey, wizards.

I can't seem to find much info regarding the effect of Tactics when it's raised past 100.0 skill points.

I'd heard that it increases damage, but everything I read was couched in jargon.

In layman's terms, could someone help me understand how it does that (percentage? static number?) as well as the actual increase in damage for, say, 105.0, 110.0, etc.

Essentially, I'd like to avoid GMing Tactics if this is a somewhat low-impact or even marginal thing and simply use '+x% Tactics' weapons to take me up to/somewhat past 100.0.

I don't mind giving up a bit of extra damage for added utility.
At the same time, I don't want to give up accuracy.

    Thanks for y'all's help.

    • Strength @ 100 = 20%, Strength @ 110 = 22%, Strength @ 120 = 24%
    • Tactics @ 50 = 37.5% , Tactics @ 75 = 43.75%, Tactics @ 100 = 50%, Tactics @ 110 = 52.5%, Tactics @ 125 = 56.25%
    • Anatomy 0 - 30%

player: 100 str / 100 dex / no skills invested

    store bought dagger
    : 3-15 damage potential

    0 skill / max damage roll 2
    50 anatomy / max damage roll 3
    100 anatomy / max damage roll 6

    0 anatomy again

    80 tactics / max damage roll 7
    85 tactics / max damage roll 8
    90 tactics / max damage roll 8.something
    100 tactics / max damage roll 9
    110 tactics / max damage roll 10
    115 tactics / max damage roll 10.something
    120 tactics / max damage roll 11

    GM anatomy/tactics : 100 str
max damage roll 15 /// average of 9
    GM anatomy/ 120 tactics : 120 str
max damage roll 18 /// average of 3 (that varience !)

Wow! Thank you for putting all of this together.

I think I'm reading this right, but correct me if I'm wrong:

the 20-point difference in Tactics accounts for a 2-point difference in an average damage roll? So 9 damage vs 11 damage (from a dagger)?

Edit: just saw the 120str in the second part. With 100str, the differential is probably less?
