Best historical bugs?

Let's reminisce a little... what were some of the best bugs during OSI days?

I remember there was the Sphere bug, where you could increase your skills by using +25 weapons.

I think at one time there was a trade window bug that let people steal from your bank box.

What else did y'all exploit or see exploited?

I remember finding my first "no draw" tile. It was an interesting day that showed me a lot about myself and my morals.


Yeah, that's right... I spent the day trying to figure out how to exploit the hell out of it. I got my just rewards though... f*ck all nothing, of course

the anvil/forge backpack was nice to use
I didnt own one but used a friend's for a bit

Gold dupe. Not that I did it....

Atlantic shard had a guild way back in the day that was called HaX and they duped thousands of items that each cost 20mil+ a pop. Duped these items like candy. Had chests of the stuff worth in the billions range

Blade spirit next to stair in a small tower for resist. Getting into you bank without being next to it(ive seen loaded people house trapped unload their stuff this way before dying). Using a rune book by leaving it open in the bank. Running with a dragon next to a house and stopping in the front where the dragon falls inside cause it was flying.

Ya i remember that one. There was a well known blacksmith on great lakes that had a small on a large tower. When they fixed it he lost the tower and quit.

Not sure if its a bug or not. But i remember houses with only the steps actually on land. The rest would be floating. I never tried to pull it off but i heard it was done using runes.

I also remember some bug with polymorph. I think you were able to change hair and skin color or something. Also my male char was female for a while i believe. Its hard to remember that far back lol.

Wasn't this to give a female a beard using the facial hair deed?
There was also something for ice white hair

Im not 100 percent on the beard but it does sound familiar I think. The white hair i have no clue on. For a while i know tons of people were doing it. At one time my char name was even different when i logged in. It was when my char was stuck female. It my have to do with a incognito bug i was playing with at the same time.

stealing bags of blessed items

Feed and release your horse at same time for unlimited horse stamina. You had until the feed animation to mount it.

Polymorph to female, equip female armor, able to keep wearing it when you return male. I was sexy and you knew it.

My husband say right after patch 16 there was a dragon curse bug where if you bless yourself afterward sometimes it would glitch and give 225 str, 225 dex and 100 int

Now that I'm reading this, I remember you could use World Forge to increase the Z axis in the ocean, place a boat, and then sail over land.

And if you sailed over a dock with a coiled rope locked down on it, that rope would unlock. I used to sell those at 250k a pop.

House break-in bug, there used to be an empty tile under the doors and runes marked where they were placed and not your player location. Drop a rune in that spot and mark it, grab it and gate that rune to open the door! This was before lockdowns and such so it was all free game!

Animated house add on duped when using the customize house function.
Duped houses full of stuff, had my accounts deleted for that.

Wish I had pic left to show the chests of items from comment earlier. EA back than literally had to pay staff overtime that night to ban a 40+ player guild and all of their accounts. Spread between LS and ATL shards. If you remember what ornament of the magician is remember it was a 40mil item. Imagine a chest completely filled with just that.
