Runic weapons that exist where no hammer does

I guess I should have taken a screenshot of the DB listing that had none of these items when I researched the ore-type weapon counts 6+ months ago. Was there any change in DB updates that would have excluded these items in a generic listing of say, Halberds, in the past? Or can we expect more items resulting from things happening before patches that are not listed, to surface in the future?

See at this point if I were Telamon I would be putting phantom items into the database just to wind up Blaise and watch him go.

You can, but it will create a normal hued weapon with no runic stats.

And if I would have read down one more line I would have saw Blaise respond lol.

Was testing a Valorite Warhammer on test yesterday against 35 armor and landed a 63 damage hit. I'm not sure why everyone keeps telling me 50 is the max hit on this server. Maybe it is the max with the current available weapons.

oh i dunno why anyone would tell you that. I believe i've been hit for 65 by an agapite war hammer once or twice on live

I can hit you for over 50 damage right now with a vanquishing large battle axe. It's not unheard of. Being able to land two of those before a heal gets off....slim chance of that happening.

Two dexxers

I got absolutely slammed a couple weeks ago by a war hammer. Freaked me the f*ck out. We were in a big group fight and I went from loading up a spell to less than half HP thinking I was about to drop any second. It had to have done at least 60 dmg..

I recall seeing these valorite hued weapons on the DB some time ago (5+ Months at least), I just assumed that someone had actually managed to create a valorite runic hammer.

Yeah, Vanquishing War Hammers are no joke.

I'm not really trying to stir up conspiracy, however the accusation of such is pretty clear. I'm just curious where they came from because despite not taking a screenshot I literally had a notepad file with the count of every hued weapon of any desirable level and none were higher than agapite.

Obviously the one Tel posted data on was crafted by Kali who most of us know was one of the earliest GM smithies around. Just seems strange that it wasn't listed in the DB, or somehow I didn't notice it in the numerous searches I did for these things and have done for several months.


It was just curious is all but I guess we can all rest easy knowing that no one's breaking out runics of that level until one of the three top-tier BoD addicts known, actually produce one.

PS: I still have 16 shots on my current gold hammer and four more hammers ready to be made. The higher level hammers will be used more sparingly, not less.

You burn charges on your hammers for fellow guildmates, no?

I think it's safe to assume that by the time you get that Val hammer that you'll have quite a few more people in your faction guild, not accounting for friends/favors that you may burn charges for as well.

You can roll your eyes into the back of your asshole for what all I care, this is a simple assumption based on current trends.

Sadly I am way behind on this particular one, and at the moment it's a two-horse race. But with a little luck, who knows...

Faction/Guildmates have payed a fair price for weapons of the higher qualities, burnt or not. I do not think it's safe to assume much at all about how quickly the valorite hammer will be used. Hell, I could be PvM only by then and use it for farming out of spite. (insert: "I thought you were already" response)

Considering even now with gold hammers, folks are still fine with a bronze for free, which I guess you could call burned. I see it all as supporting the Faction in the grand scheme.

I just realized I'm going to start discounting runic hammer charges for X amount of kill points. I think I'll run for CL on my crafter.
