hello, i started recently and i have a problem with the scrollspeed of the game client. after 30 min of playtime my eyes start to bleed... is there a way to make gameplay a bit smoother? grandpa google says "fpsPatcher2016", but avira says it's infected, and isolated the *.dll that comes with it. so...is there a way? thanks in advance
Well the 2D client works this way and I know what you mean. The OSI Enhanced client is very smoth as it is 3D and I also recall that the 3D client that came with Blackthorns revenge where very smoth as well but this shard only supports the 2D client to 100%. The background in the 2D client jumps one tile at each step you take and you can't effect that with any FPS software really. There is however other free shards that supports 3D if 2D is a problem for your eyes.
https://github.com/Hotride/UOFPSPatcher Its going to show false positives because it is actively editing the client's memory. alternatively you could try and get OrionUO client legitimized by telamon (made by the same guy that made the FPS patcher). I talked to him about the client before but I never asked about getting it approved. I also don't know how powerful the scripting ability is vs razor.
I DLed OrionUO yesterday and it did not run at all. The FPS tool does not work on our UOR client. Sorry...
You did something wrong / Only connect to the test server cuz this isn't approved for the production server
Orion client is definitely not allowed. The reason is that it has capabilities that allow for advanced scripting.
FPS patcher does work, maybe just not that one. We had a whole debate about it on another thread. It is my understanding that it is frowned upon, tho. Wich is why I’ll let you search for yourself if you want the link, hehe. Wouldn’t want to spread something the authorities do not completely approve.
