I appreciate the rain on my parade.. but.......
I'm just paying plat because I've been AFK long enough that my 3 accounts accumulated a good amount of plat by just being logged in.. plus traded a lot of gold for plat @8k when it was going for 11k when a well-to-do friend was quitting. So... plat value doesn't really matter to me.. the RB's and Ethy's cost the plat they cost, and I'm trying to buy them for less plat than the reward vendor sells them for. The value of plat has 0 impact on my offer. Now if I brought gold in to this, then there'd be a plat / gold ratio to consider.. but again, I'm just trying to pay less plat for plat only items. Don't think I have enough gold to equal the plat value of either item I'm purchasing.
