The boots make sense - The Leps are stealthers. The gloves don't unless the bunny is a secret tealeaf.
Lucky rabbit's foot. User becomes a code God, time stops while user enters trance and instantly fixes everyone's problems.
I think the stealth boots are a nice idea. Kind of weird if they are just a rare drop from the holiday "champ spawn" or something like that unrelated to you know, stealthing. Either way it's good to see on the server. Good job to @Chris for that one I'd say. Stealing gloves like was also mentioned here though... I only think that is a good idea if they are not blessed/newbies and cannot be blessed or newbied. Make a thief take a risk to get a good chance at stealing something. Gloves of +50 stealing that are sort of rare perhaps, but not in a "holiday only" sort of way so that they just end up locked down in someone's "rare museum", instead in a "just a super rare drop that is available year around" way. Imagine if some +50 stealing gloves were worth 2-3 million gold. No thief going to use that in town unless there is a very good reason for the risk so it's not going to increase bank thieves and that annoying stuff for the most part. It would be good to have in some particular situation (and since there is no stealing in events it doesn't make events become even more item-based, if stealing was in events, magical stealing gloves should be disabled for it), and wouldn't just be a permanent increase to a character giving unfair advantage to players with money.
+5 stealing gloves non blessable and non newbied for 50k or so, sure why not. That just adds to the equip cost for thieves, and thieves need to start learning to actually equip themselves with stuff and stop being death-robe bozos. Sounds good. My main point is don't make it like mask of wild, but for stealing. Mask of Wild just adds some convenience in taming pets or being able to control a pet a tiny bit longer without feeding it, or saving you a couple skill points for minimum control skill required (but almost nobody does that). Those things are not a big deal. Giving a player a blessed item that adds to a skill that is used directly on players, that's a nono in my book.
@Pirul try adding 2 scoops of sugar into your morning coffee macro. Instead of salt for best results. Make sure to bind and retarget the stick up your ass lol
When talking about stealing COMPLETELY unrelated event thread is not enough, resort to TT!! Infallible logic!
Let's talk about provo onto players while we're at it!! What's your stance on it? Whatever dude, I was just having fun with it!
Everyones going to be hoping for this drop during the whole event. Chris will be laughing behind the scenes with a April Fools joke on everyone who got hot and bothered for these boots! +1 to Chris for the prank!
