Platinum System Discussion

Perhaps call it a Wearables Dye Tub that dyed all items on a paper doll with charges. Just simple colors like the ore hues and a few basic dye tub colors: Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Turquoise, Gray, Brown, etc... Just make sure none of the hues were slotted for rares.

Having a matching outfit, even of normal colors, would be a great plat reward.

I thought Chris already said shrouded hoods were coming as Faction rewards. I doubt he would also make them available through Platinum. Even with non-faction hues.

Stone steps and blocks.

I've messed with UO architect, and one thing I enjoy doing is changing the internal layout of houses I'll never own with stone blocks creating false walls and raised platforms.

I am not keen for custom houses to appear here but I believe this would be a really happy medium. Especially if you made it so that they couldn't be used on roofs so the external appearance of all flat roofed buildings would still be the same.

Imagine being able to section off a Keeps middle room or adding steps to the main entrances hallway enabling you to get into those ground level floors without having to go upstairs.

Making a throne platform or a stage, inside your house would be awesome, making a half wall secure loot section out of stone blocks and not tables. The items are already there and would just require a patch adding them to the reward vendor.

You may want to consider switching to a new internet service provider if this is an ongoing issue. A week ago or so I had this weird issue of lag both logging in and logging out but I did not lose connection. Other than announced server restarts nearly every other time I find myself logged out appears to be an issue on my side because other things I was running were screwed up as well. I think I was up to about 620+ hours on my accounts this month and unfortunately due to real life commitments almost all of that was AFK.

For platinum rewards I think more house furniture would be fun as long as it wasn't done in a silly manner:

For example:
- harpsichord
- chamber pot
- wall drapes
- bath tub

Check your router / modem. Reset it or replace. Normally I find consistent drops are due to my router.

You do realize that if you have a faulty router or modem it won't normally show up in a speed test, right? As you've indicated, it's an intermittent issue.

I do realize this, I also realize that I do t lose connection anywhere else and that my modem/ router is not faulty. It’s 4 weeks straight from the box and this issue has been ongoing since I’ve been here, long before I had this router.

My point was to throw sas back at the newbie poster he threw salt. How did I do? Had to upgrade my modem FROM DOCSIS 3.0 to 3.1 in case you were wondering why the new modem.

Try turning IP6 off
I have seen this cause lots of connection problems.

After that, try an
ipconfig /release
and then
ipconfig /renew

And if all else fails
It might be time to update your operating system
