As many of you might or might not know, Mutumbo was banned from UOR. Prior to the ban he dropped the Tater Memorial Rune Library which many of you used on a daily basis. The purpose of this thread is to pool efforts to rebuild this grand library, as well as decide on the new name! Vendors are also in the works to provide patrons with a more enjoyable visit to the area. First, if you would like to donate any professionally marked runebooks or any books that you received from when the library was dropped, please post which books you have to donate below and then contact myself in IRC. I am also open to expanding the library to include more detailed runes to rares and mining locations, as well as helpful locations for new players to train skills and farm. If you would like to run a vendor from the new library once it is finished with its new construction please also let me know. Any vendors will need to remain stocked on a regular basis.

I think it would be awesome as a keep/tower/keep combo, which can now be bridged as it once could. Make the interior into a library and potentially host some roof to roof events (which could still be accommodated without any breach to keep interiors.

This has actually been discussed. I went on test center to attempt correct placement but test was down. I will definitely consider this option.

I vote you name it "the Inca Ruins Library". It holds meaning for those who knew his affinity for human sacrifice and poetically describes how his empire fell

I propose "Tater's Tears" because it is said the greatest potato to grace these fine lands was said to shed a single tear for every pk banned from the shard.

I scooped up the following 12 books after he dropped the library. I will donate them back in order for this to be rebuilt.

I voted for Other, and my vote would be for any name that doesn't involve exploiters, people who shit-talked the shard, and/or people who "allegedly" tried to buy/sell accounts.

I also voted other because I'd rather not see it named after someone who had a little fit in IRC all night.

I already rebuilt it, into my own private library, using his books. Which I thanked him for, saved me a lot of time. That being said, if you were going to rebuild it i'd name it "The tater memorial rune library, memorial rune library.

I'll help mark runebooks for ya if there are particular ones that are missing.

That said, I also vote Other. All of the alleged bad stuff aside, when he dropped that rune library he was saying F-U to the players, not the shard. I wouldn't build a memorial to someone that just told me to go french-toast myself.

I think I once read about this in History class... Correct me if I'm wrong, but through centuries of evolution the Incans lost their third arm and were forever more unable to wield three pickaxes at once. A tragic fate, to be sure.

I really appreciate all of the feedback so far! All of which will be taken into consideration. And Henserson, thank you for being willing to donate those books. I will cross them off the list and you can get them to me whenever you have time. I will be mixing those runebooks with what I have at my tower library and we can move forward from there. I'd imagine its going to take a week or two at least to get this place back up and running properly so please be patient. Thanks Basoosh for also offering to give some help marking runebooks.
