@Reaper yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the problem.

Another thing: camping is not the only good way to raise int. While it's the fastest one, it requires your attendance.
You can train int unattended via herding (same way as you train str) in ~5 hours.

I've also done 100 Int unattended via spirit speak. It is slow with the 10 second cool down, yes, but for something to do while sleeping or at work, it works wonders.
