Went out to Cove fort and hunted down the Orcish Monstrosity, it took ages to die because it has like 15k hp and all it had was 153 gold. GG Orcs!

Yeah same deal, I thought I was killing something meaningful, with some decent loot. Got a chuckle out of standard Orc loot.

Reports came rolling in of the recent encounter between the Cove Militia and the orc infestation to their south, as he walked into the office.

"Bah, not this crap again General. Thought we dealt with this scum for the last time during their previous uprising." Cero muttered.

"Not so Cero, this time it looks different. These reports show the orcs have bred some sort of monstrosity at their fort to the south of the city, I need you to check it out and confirm the hear say." General Jenkins replied.

"Roger Sir, anything else I should know?" Cero said with a quickness. It had been too long since he had wet his blade with orc blood.

"Negative, just watch your back." The General said with a concerned look on his face.

Travel ready, as always he was, Cero made for his all too familiar stomping grounds. Quickly it was the same old slaughter. Orcs fell to his blade as he approached the gate when he heard it for the first time, a blood chilling roar from within. With practiced precision he finished off his current target and checked his surroundings, nothing. Maybe he had finished off the last of the gate guard he thought to himself. Wasting no time he ducked out of sight and crept closer to the gates. There standing three times as tall as the normal orc stood this "monstrosity".

"What in the nine hells, where did they come up with this creature?" Cero whispered to himself. "Well here goes nothing!"

Cero charged in, deftly dodging aside the lumbering swings of this large creature, quickly he realized speed would win this battle. As other orcs crept in, Cero broke contact to dispatch the new targets till he could get this giant by himself. It did not take long till he found himself near the rear of the fort alone with this thing.

"Alright, just you and me now." Cero muttered to the creature, not knowing if it understood him.

The battle was lengthy one, more because of the sheer girth of the thing then it's skill in battle. Back and forth they went, Cero maneuvering his spectral mount around the creature for attacks at the creature's flanks rather then face it head on. But with a final swing the oaf fell. Cero could barely lift his arms, deep within the orc fort he knew he must report back to the General. A muttering of arcane words he focused on the rune that would take him home.

***Was a fun little fight, as stated above it is a bit lengthy because of the amount of hit points on the thing, with no loot really at all. Bard-able but very difficult, I only once got an orc bomber to attack it. All in all it was a welcomed battle, I look forward to more encounters with the Orx as my playtime picks back up!***
