I noticed this the other day in Cyclops Valley. Mare was wandering around, but shortly after it being on screen I noticed a cyclops attack it...then a Titan...then I disconnected, and then I came back to a grey screen and a nightmare corpse.

place a wisp in the cemetary, leave, come back... it's really weird man. They all just "stop".

I thought in last patch for nightmare spawns it was implied that ghosting spawns was a jailable offense? Not that I care but seems ghosting nightmare spawns is clearly still happening.

People apparently can't uo correctly without multiple ghosts watching other people play uo


I've thought the same thing before @Minax but a majority do it if they say so or not.

Well, I think people might be making a bit too much of a deal out of ghosting. I usually get 2-4 mares a week just checking spawns twice a day...on weekdays. Just now I got 2 mares that were just sitting there waiting to be taken in a single round of checking. One in Wind, one at cyclops. If people ARE ghosting, then they are waaaay bad at it.

Someone is desperately ready to listen, buddy.

A few things to say here. People are killing mares to control the market, and keep their timers. They kill unsellable ones because stable space is limited and it keeps the timers for a more profitable product.

That said, just like any other system in this game if you want the product you have to purchase it or be luckier/more prepared than other players.

Your options are..
-check spawns often
-run a bot (not ghosting)
-get lucky
-buy one

I have found almost all my mares from randomly checking spawns, others i bought. Just keep on it and you will find one. Many times I found one that was already being tamed and wished the other players well and went on my way, but remember this is Fel, so if you really want one, have a pvper ready to scare off the no resist tamers.
Also i would be happy to share info on setting up a mare bot, just pm me.
