This is my fortress that I've have for a few years now. I placed it a long time ago and am like 99% my courtyard is secure. I still play every once in a while but not as much as I used to. I am in no rush to sell it and don't plan on letting go of it if I do not get an actual good offer. I have a lot of blocker houses around it that can be included in the sale. I am not interested in private offers. If you want to offer me some crazy stuff in trade that's fine but post it here for all of UO:R to see and comment on. If I start seeing that this might be worth it I will make a new post for an auction. I also have a small tower near the Serpents Hold bank/tailor/stable and the Fire Temple Entrance Sandstone if anyone would like to comment on those. I am at work an don't have access to pictures of those two houses.
I'm not going to state a value because it would be biased and that wouldn't be legit. I will - however point you to 2 things dude for a point of reference. Last 2 forts that went up for auction were Ashborns ice fort for 18 Mil with no bids before being retracted (Think he's living in it now which I'm stoked for him about as it's a cool spot) And Stav currently has one for 30 mil on grass near south of ice dungeon near a mountain for 30 mil with no offers for a month or so now. Take from that what you will, I'm going to excuse myself from valuing it in respect to fairness, if you decide on a price and want to auction it please let me know as I'm interested in the property. Thanks for the reference I appreciate it! It did go IDOC! I was on vacation and barely refreshed it in time. I believe a hurricane must swept past Skara Brae because I had a ton of boats sitting in front of my house when I logged in. That or my house was the unofficial starting point for some fishing contest or something....
Defo a hurricane dude. Your spots in a little bay so they must of got blown in.... On the reals though. Hella interested in the spot I've just been bumping a WTB fort thread for a few weeks so if I come in and say it's worth 20 mil it's just gonna look suss as fuck!
I would guess in the 25-30 range. Nice grass and waterfront. Stav's is overpriced at 30m and his courtyard is marked to hell.
I would go in buying a fortress thinking they are all marked to hell... Cross your fingers for CUB sometime soon so the prices will go up even higher.
Open it up at 20m and let the market decide! Give the people what they want! if you're not using it let someone put it to use!
Thank you everyone for the comments and offers! If I were to list it I'd have to start at 30mil just because it's a nice spot. How much do y'all expect prices to actually go up once cub comes out? 30? 35? 40? Are people expecting a lot of forts to go on the market immediately?
i would have to say nothing is going to change. not like a bunch of people are going to start playing and increase the demand
CUB? (assume you meant moats)... either way LOL!!!! that's hilarious. On a serious note, I think moats are only about two weeks out. I'd wait to sell your fort!!
I would say this would be worth about 55million gold...but some people say I am a terrible property appraiser...not sure why
I paid 25 Million for my fort but it had a train on the roof, lol. I would say that yours is worth the S/B of 30 Million. With water right outside your door and all that grass, it's a beautiful spot. Don't give it away for less than 30.
This. Worth 30-35m, could higher with a bidding war, but its hard to get bid wars that high since few people have that level of coin.
I second what most people here have said, with the caveat that if you want 30m+ you'll struggle to get that all in gold. I would put an SB of 25m on it without a BO when you're serious about selling. Good luck!
